Pen-Pals and Egg Salad??

Hey Y’all! How is everyone on the fine Wednesday afternoon?? I am doing great, I have had a good day today, though it has been low-key and relax day… The weather man is calling for rain today… so the clouds are getting dark and I hear a storm coming. So I thought lets do a post before the storm and maybe take a nap (: I love some rainy day nap taken!!! 🙂

Well Today when I checked the mail I had a Pen-Pal letter!! I have also go another one last week… But this one was pink! lol I Have a couple I am going to get mailed out that I written today. I think it is so cool that people are still hand-writing letters. It is so old fashion and neat. 🙂 Miss Kellie has started the whole pen-pal thing… you can go on over there and sign up!! So you are probley thinking where is the egg salad???? Well Last night I made egg Salad which I craving… Odd?? So I made egg salad and Carter watched hoping he would get some! I added tuna to my egg salad to add some meat to it plus I love tuna!! I tried the new Olive Oil Mayo.. which it was pretty tasty for mayo.. Even though it wasn’t Dukes Mayo… hehe. So I took some photos! (:

I just want to do a little post for this lovely warm Saturday!!

What is in my make-up bag!

I love make up and i like sharing what I like to use and what I think are great things to use. For me I don’t use anything that test on animals. Because you can buy great things from companies that don’t  have to harm animals!! I only use a few things but I love trying new make-up and different types. (:  I love glitter and lots of it and I like to play up my eyes! You can do a lot of neat and pretty styles of eye make-up!

There you have it! Just a few things that I love that is in my make-up bag!!

A little love

I first off wanna start off with a lovely song by Mindy Gledhill. I found this video over at A Fanciful Twist… her blog is very lovely, which the song inspired me to do a love/Valentines post. Happy Thursday (:

Its a Raining, cold day here in the good old south… So I get down in the blues because of the rain, sometimes it just messes up all my plans. So I am trying to look a happy things and think of ways to stay happy and not be blue…

5 ways to be happy!

• Cupcakes, I love cupcakes as you all know! I love going somewhere I can get a cupcake or something sweet. Either a cupcake shop which there is none here in Anderson, sc so I like to go to the local coffee shop. Ecity Java. When I get down in the blues and tired of being in the house, so I grab my laptop or iPad and head on over and get a warm cup of coffee and a little treat. ( if you go to Ecity java their peanut butter cookies are amazing!)
• Taking your doggie for a walk, not only you are in the bright warm sun you are getting to spend good, fun time with your dog. And while you enjoying this you are getting a good dose of Vitamin D. If you don’t have a dog, take a small walk, grab your iPod or mp3 player. Put on some up beat music and smile!
• funny movies and pjs, one pick-me up is that I love to grab my favorite funny movie and some comfy pjs. Laughing is the greatest thing to make you feel better so watching something sunny helps.. Dont watch some crazy lifetime movie, they can be depressing!
• Bubble baths. Need to get unstressed from a long hard day…. run you a big warm bubble bath, light some candles, and some wine… now thats is very relaxing and if you are relaxed it helps with your happiness.
• Hanging with your girlfriends. Have a girls night.

Wednesday!

Spring is in the Air! Hello Wednesday! No Mid week blues here!

Today has been a very lovely day, I went to lunch with my love muffin to Summa Joe’s and had some yummy Bob Marley pizza. Well i talked to my mama this afternoon and she is doing good,  just she is not feeling to well. I am going to call her later to check up on how she is feeling. HMMM… Well I have a 8 day goal; who wants to hear it??? I am starting spring cleaning!!! We are leaving in 8 days for the mountains, so during these 8 days I planning on cleaning the house from top to bottom! SO when we come home the house will be spotless and the house will be nice and clean for miss Latoya (:  So I hope to blog each day of what I finish, though yall might not care. lol. I also want to finish the door within this these days.

Today I am going to be working on the laundry. Finishing washing and folding them. We have the problem after we wash our clothes we just put them on the table and not fold them. So thats whats I am doing today. Which I am almost done. I have taken a photo of the huge pal of clothes to share but I post it later tonight. Well I might. its kinda embarrassing. I am going to go now.. gotta get to cleaning! (:

It been awhile

Hey everyone! It has been a few weeks since I have posted anything. There are many reason why I haven’t one, I had no internet for about week, 2 been really busy, and 3 have been working on some DIY . I have a few things to share with the Project Restyle. I gotta get them posted!

So how was everyone weekend/Monday? Mine was good, Curtis was off so we got to spend some time together.  We started painting the the front door red, I will post photos once its finished. It has been raining and so its hard to get painted, I want it to dry right. It is going to take lots of coats. which its a pain!!!

Well we have 9 days left till we leave for the Mountains!! I am very excited! We rented a cabin with Ingrid and Justin for Valentine’s Day. I haven’t been a really long time, so I am very excited. hmmm Well I am going to go this is just a little update to let everyone know I am still alive! Be back laters.

Bye bye Weekend; maybe snow too?

Hey everyone! Well the weekend is almost gone. I just wanna say there is still snow on the ground. We have had snow here in the south for the past week. Just on the ground that it is. Don’t get me wrong it was nice, after while it gets old. The main roads and my roads are fine, the ones that get the most snow are great. Just the ones that are very shady are still not very safe.

Well this weekend has been good. I drove the Bug today it was good drive. I can’t wait to get it completely fixed! Nothing exciting has happened this weekend though. I have a few projects I am working on and I can’t wait to share them with you, they are all almost finish.  Well I am going to go, sorry this was not a very exciting post.

Modern Dog Magazine

Hello my lovelies! Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Yesterday I brought a magazine a dog one. Modern Dog. I have never seen a dog magazine like this before.

There are few things I like to share with you out of the magazine. I have found 3 or so things/ topics that are perfect for my three Pups, Chelsea, Kobie, and Carter. There is also a great story in the mag. that is about Food Allergies. It is a must read! All dog owners need to know about all the different food allergies. It is importnet for our babies to be healthy and free of theses! For a small peek in; At a glance:

• Some of the breeds most prone to food allergies
  include: Boxer, cocker spaniel, springer spaniel, collie, dalmatian, German shepherd, Lhasa Apso, Miniature schnauzer, retriever, Shar Pei, Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier, Dachshund, and West Highland White Terrier.
• Most Common Food Allergies
  include: beef, dairy, and wheat.
• Least common Food Allergies
  are fish and rabbit
• General Signs and symptoms of allergies
  include: dry itchy skin, excessive scratching or licking, bald patches, a high frequency of hot spots, eat infections, skin infections, diarrhea, and vomiting.

Miss Chelsea. I saw this and I thought Chelsea and Carter need this food bowl set. It is super cute! They are both very messy when it come to dinner time. I also think this might help them eat a little slower wouldn’t you think? Here is their website, they come in many different sizes and they even have videos! http://www.neaterfeeder.com/

I love to try some of these products for Kobie, I am not sure he would play with the ball, but the bed and the treats would bed a hit. He loves to lay one something soft and a bed that is made just for his age would be perfect for him!

I saw this and read this and thought of Carter! Running to the door is most favorite thing to do beside chewing on a big dog bone. He has a really bad problem of darting for door when we are want to go outside, letting guest in, or when someone just comes to the door. It is becoming a really bad problem. I read this and it tells you how to teach your dog not to run to the door every time you go the door or answer it. It seems pretty easy, but it going to take some time I see. But I willing to try it and I hope it works!! I will keep you updated on it, if yall like.
