happy Easter!

I hope everyone had a great Easter and everyone remembers why we celebrate Easter! Curtis and I had a great Easter Weekend. We had his Family gathering Saturday. The Richey Easter Egg Hunt. Which is his whole family!! Then Sunday we went to Enon for Easter Service and had  a lovely Easter lunch with my family. It was so good to spend the weekend with family! Also Curtis and I went for a ride on the motorcycle, went up to a tunnel in the mountains. We had to stop there because we were getting to close to NC which we would have to wear helmets. It was a good weekend!

Pen-Pals and Egg Salad??

Hey Y’all! How is everyone on the fine Wednesday afternoon?? I am doing great, I have had a good day today, though it has been low-key and relax day… The weather man is calling for rain today… so the clouds are getting dark and I hear a storm coming. So I thought lets do a post before the storm and maybe take a nap (: I love some rainy day nap taken!!! 🙂

Well Today when I checked the mail I had a Pen-Pal letter!! I have also go another one last week… But this one was pink! lol I Have a couple I am going to get mailed out that I written today. I think it is so cool that people are still hand-writing letters. It is so old fashion and neat. 🙂 Miss Kellie has started the whole pen-pal thing… you can go on over there and sign up!! So you are probley thinking where is the egg salad???? Well Last night I made egg Salad which I craving… Odd?? So I made egg salad and Carter watched hoping he would get some! I added tuna to my egg salad to add some meat to it plus I love tuna!! I tried the new Olive Oil Mayo.. which it was pretty tasty for mayo.. Even though it wasn’t Dukes Mayo… hehe. So I took some photos! (:

Creating a New Blog!

Hey Guys! I am making the switcher to a new host which I am going to blogger… I like it because I can be more creative with my blog. Pretty in Pink Monday!

Hey Yall!

I am working doing Pretty IN____ Mondays. I think it be a fun posting. I am not sure on how long, I guess intill I run out of ideas! Well today’s is Pretty in Pink Monday!

Some of the things I am going to post are things I would like to have or I think is just plain fun! Today I am going to post a few things and I hope you enjoy. The first thing is a Amy Adair Necklets She is a local jewelry designer and she is very creative. Her stuff reminds me of Besety Johnson. She has an Esty store too.  I am trying to sweet talk Curtis in to getting it for me, it would be a great Valentines’ Gift. 😉

So I went looking today trying to see what would look cute with this… so I ended up on my new favorite Brand; Be Be and well I found this very pretty classic white shirt.  It has a scoop neck with lace. WEll take a look (:  (click on the pic to enlarge)

Ok the next thing is what every girl loves ROSES! Now who loves it when your love Cupcake bring you home a dozen of  PINK roses? I do!

Cupcake cake pops something I am going to start try to do (: I might do a post on how to make cake pops. Who would like to see that?

 

Well I have been wanting to get my nails done, so I have been looking a nail designs and pink ones of course but I also found this. Its pink and has a cupcake! What a great combo right?

Last but not least I have to inculde the Movie Pretty In Pink!! YOu gotta love this 80’s movie, it is one of my favorites! She is also one of my favorite 80’s actress. She is so pretty and funny, thought Sixteen Candles is my favorite I do believe with her in it!

Modern Dog Magazine

Hello my lovelies! Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Yesterday I brought a magazine a dog one. Modern Dog. I have never seen a dog magazine like this before.

There are few things I like to share with you out of the magazine. I have found 3 or so things/ topics that are perfect for my three Pups, Chelsea, Kobie, and Carter. There is also a great story in the mag. that is about Food Allergies. It is a must read! All dog owners need to know about all the different food allergies. It is importnet for our babies to be healthy and free of theses! For a small peek in; At a glance:

• Some of the breeds most prone to food allergies
  include: Boxer, cocker spaniel, springer spaniel, collie, dalmatian, German shepherd, Lhasa Apso, Miniature schnauzer, retriever, Shar Pei, Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier, Dachshund, and West Highland White Terrier.
• Most Common Food Allergies
  include: beef, dairy, and wheat.
• Least common Food Allergies
  are fish and rabbit
• General Signs and symptoms of allergies
  include: dry itchy skin, excessive scratching or licking, bald patches, a high frequency of hot spots, eat infections, skin infections, diarrhea, and vomiting.

Miss Chelsea. I saw this and I thought Chelsea and Carter need this food bowl set. It is super cute! They are both very messy when it come to dinner time. I love to try some of these products for Kobie, I am not sure he would play with the ball, but the bed and the treats would bed a hit. He loves to lay one something soft and a bed that is made just for his age would be perfect for him!

I saw this and read this and thought of Carter! Running to the door is most favorite thing to do beside chewing on a big dog bone. He has a really bad problem of darting for door when we are want to go outside, letting guest in, or when someone just comes to the door. It is becoming a really bad problem. I read this and it tells you how to teach your dog not to run to the door every time you go the door or answer it. It seems pretty easy, but it going to take some time I see. But I willing to try it and I hope it works!! I will keep you updated on it, if yall like.

I have one thing to share and then I am going to call it a night I am almost on 500 word count!

2 Year Blog Anniversary and Give Away!

Hello my lovelies! I hope you are enjoying your new year! I am sitting here watching the Green Bay Packer and then I realized it is my 2 year blog anniversary! So I thought about doing a little Give away for all the lovely readers and a little survey.  But 1st I want to write about the past 2 years that I have been blogging, and what I want and need out of the lovely new year! I hope to set some goals and see new places and meet new people.

During 2009 and 2010 I have noticed going back that I wrote a lot more and it was a little more personal. And lets not forget very random. Busy Holiday!

It has and still a busy time for me! Sorry I haven’t Posted anything, I have not forgotten about my lovely readers! My mom is in town from Maine along with my little brother Adrian. I hope everyone has had a wonderful Christmas and soon to be New Years eve!!!

New Little Project.

Hi! 
I am starting up something that I think will be fun, and just something little to do on the side. I am going to start playing around with CSS code to work with my blog, I want to make it more me. I also making banners/ headers in photoshop. My English teacher was telling my about something that is real easy to do, but I forgot what it is called. It started with a G it like photoshop. Anyways. Today in English class I had to make a logo and I didn’t want to use just any old logo from word or powerpoint. So I had my photoshop on my thumb drive so I started playing around on it. Which it turned out pretty cute, which its very basic. but Chic. So my teacher is wanting me to make her a header. banner for her blog. She wants Italy theme with words embellish on it. So I am going to start working hers.  I am going to start posting what I come up with and process and everything, just I am going to need some help. I want you my readers to get the word out about my little project to bloggers. I am doing this for the bloggers that are tried of the boring old headers/ banners and want something new.  

As you can see that my banner now is a care bear. I am thinking of adding something cute to it. but I dont know yet. I might just start something new all together.
