Thanksgiving Week in the South

Happy Thanksgiving Week everyone! This is the week is when Curtis and I start getting ready for the big dinner! This is our 2nd Thanksgiving together, we cooked last year and we are cooking again this year too! Our loving dinner menu:

  • Turkey and Dressing
  • Green beans
  • and green bean casserole
  • Sweet potatoes casserole
  • Mash Potatoes
  • Mac and Cheese
  • Rolls
  • Pumpkin Cheese Cake
  • Homemade Cranberry Sauce.

I am wanting to make something with Chocolate but I am not sure on what yet. Any ideas?

Thanksgiving to me is the day to give thanks and the day that fall ends and to start getting ready for Christmas. I am wanting to put up our tree Friday or Saturday. I made a pretty Christmas wreath under $10 yesterday, which I love! Now I am needing a wreath holder so I can hang it on the door! Well this week I am hoping to blog little something about Thanksgiving. Like my favorite recipe, what I am thankful, photos, and maybe something more (:

Holiday Diet update/goals

Here is a small update; I am doing ok. I did really bad yesterday. I had pie and muffins. I made homemade apple spiced muffins. They were amazing though! I am going to have some re do some of my goals and eating.

Goals

  • buy water; drink it too
  • get up at 9 to jog
  • start working on some crafts I want to do
  • eat less sweets
  • workout more
  • try not to eat out
  • start my new book

Things not to eat:

  • beef
  • chicken
  • white bread
  • candy
  • chips
  • no soda

Things to eat less of:

  • sweet tea
  • coffee
  • chocolate
  • pork

Things to get more and do

  • fish
  • turkey
  • milk
  • eggs
  • veggies
  • fruit
  • salads
  • tofu
  • jog

I have do good today just the rain the past two days I haven’t been able to get out and jog. I hoping I get out tomorrow and go jogging and my bug should be fixed too. I am wanting to start eating 6 small meals a day. Breakfast (big) Snack (fruit, yogurt) Lunch ( salad, sandwich) snack (smoothie or snack bar) Dinner ( something small) snack Try not to eat after 7 pm

I am going to try not to get upset, I am going to try and stay positive!

The Good Witch Blog Party!

Saturday I sat down and watched all three movies! I love them all, but since I am in the Christmas spirit I love the new one!  The Good Witch’s Gift. I love Christmas and I can’t wait for December to get here so I can put my tree and everything! I hoped everyone enjoyed the movies! I am going to post some lovely photos! I am going to be baking a small goodie later and re-watch the movie tonight! 

The Wedding was my favorite party! And their Wedding Cookie Cake was so Cute with all the sugar cookies! (: Very Lovely!

Holiday Diet Plan.

Ok this is  a note/Blog for a diet I am wanting to do and I want to start now. I  think If I diet before and after each holiday (thanksgiving and Christmas) that It wont be so bad to eat like crazy on those too days.

I copied this from my Facebook Notes

So for every diet you have to have some type of plan with goals, right? I would love to get down back to my normal weight when I 1st met Curtis back in Summer of 09 (150 lbs) Ok some say that is too low, but that is normal for my height and age. Some say I am normal now, but the facts and numbers say different. I am over weight. I am not sure on how much I weight and I am a little scared on looking. But I plan on looking. I am thinking I weight at least 180 to 190

  • Main Goal weight 150
  • End of November Goal weight 175
  • End of Dec. Goal weight 1 60
  • By the new year 150

By finding out my true weight this will Change.

The diet I am thinking of doing is a High Protein, low carb diet, by eating Fish/Seafood.

NO: Sweets unless sugar free, no bread unless wheat and only once a day, no pasta, Chicken, Beef.

For being active jog/walk every morning/evening.

Cold November bur..

My 2nd post for today! Today for dinner I went to Denny’s because I wanted some breakfast and I wanted to see Curtis! Well They had Pumpkin pie but they were all out!!! So after dinner I went to Ingles and brought some Pumpkin Pie Creamer! There are so many different flavors and since its time for the holidays there are so many more!! I am wanting to go back and get many more!! So a nice big cup of coffee and a homemade chocolate cookies = warm November night, and the coffee made the house smell so good! So of course I took photos!! 

I am getting very excited about this Sunday! Curtis and I are getting photo taken! We are using the photos for Christmas Cards and for some frames. I am wanting to go for a Christmas feel so We are going to be wearing Black and Red. I hate matching and I just hope it wont freak me out to much. But I am wanting to a stylist matching look. Carter is also going to be the photos too, so I am going to look for a red sweater for him, since it will be chilly. Just trying to think were we going to take them at.  Any ideas??  ( here is her logo she makes beautiful photos!)

Hello!

How was everyones October and Halloween? October was a busy month for me and I didn’t get to updated and post like I wanted to. I am sorry to all my lovely readers. Also my laptop is acting silly so my internet is not wanting to work right on my user name. so I have to create a new user and now I can’t use any of my photos or links. I am going to have to get this fixed. I believe its my internet at&t card. ):

Well my Halloween was fun and busy! The party was a blast just a lot of friends didn’t show ): But there was still a good crowd of friends having fun on a spooky night. It was really cold that night though. Well the house is cleaned from all the spooky halloween decor. and still have some fall things out, but I am excited about Christmas! We are getting a real tree this year. I am wanting to have an Old fashion Christmas this year. Looking up some recipes and decor!  But I won’t start getting everything out till after Thanksgiving. Which I can’t wait for either! What is yalls favorite Thanksgiving dish? 🙂 I post my favorite later with the recipe!

Hmm…. This month I am hoping it won’t be too busy. I have 2 cupcake orders, one party, and a photo shoot. not too busy. I am hoping to start jogging with a friend this month before it gets too cold. Though today its bit cold and rainy. I am going to try and start cooking healthier too. Found some yummy recipes that I am wanting to try. Hmm Well I am going to call it a post here are some lovely photos for yall to enjoy! Thanks for reading
